ICAD #22: Mandala
I doodled this while sitting at the mall outside of Target--public art-making!
ICAD #23: Make Art In Public
I created this card from my Starbucks bag after yesterday's public art-making
session at the mall (see #22). Still loving my Dymo label maker!
ICAD #24: Theme--Make a Pocket
I used one of the first library card pockets I made to store a list of the top 10 reasons ICAD rocks. (You can see that the pocket hangs over the edges of my inked index card a bit.) And here they are:
ICAD #25: Strings of Beads
Making bracelets (something I still have to write a blog post about!)
led me to string some beads on paper, too.
ICAD #26: Aspire to Be
Watercolor banner, rubber stamps, and inked edges of a page from Don Quijote.
Just because I love detail shots: You can see the watercolor resist
technique I used on the background of the banner stamp.
ICAD #27: Stitched Ribbon
Super-simple, and super-cute!
Another detail: I might have to raid my ribbon stash again to do a few more like these.
ICAD #28: Writing Contract
I wrote this up after meeting with my writing partner Mindy for the first time. I have a color copy glued into my writing notebook as a reminder! I just painted white over strips of decorative tape, added a rubber stamp and my writing, then inked the edges.
ICAD #29: Postal Love
I created a series of postcards similar to this, which I will share in a future blog post, and decided to make an index card while I was at it. I am grateful to Karenann for the airmail envelope border. She sent me a whole page created from strips of paper, reproduced on a laser printer. Her gift has come in super-handy with my mail art!
Some gorgeous stamps from my auction haul.
ICAD #30: Feeling the Love
My husband could do no wrong on Saturday! We agreed easily on fabric to reupholster our chair, and then he got the car inspected, oil changed, and washed. I was feeling the love!
ICAD #31: Simplicity Series--Home.
I started using my index cards to save some favorite magazine photos (I think this one came from Mollie Makes magazine), along with a simple Dymo-created sentiment. Simple and pretty.
ICAD #32: Simplicity Series--Focus
This photo came from Country Living magazine.
ICAD #33: Simplicity Series--Art
I think this photo came from a newsletter magazine published by the Brandywine River Museum.
ICAD #34: Happy 4th!
Perhaps I should consider sharing my index cards more frequently to avoid such a photo-heavy post! Thank you for looking through my gallery of images. Tammy's project continues to give me a fun daily dose of creative production. Less than a month to go, but feel free to jump in any time!

I enjoyed all of your ICADs. I'm like you ... I like using the cards to keep ideas or try new things.
Great cards!
I might have to borrow some of these ideas -- I really like the "simplicity" series. Especially since I seem to collect little vignettes and then don't know what to do with them.
23 and 32 are my favorites! Congrats on keeping up with this for over a month!!
what a great group of cards. I love that you made a top ten list for your library pocket. I'm both a library geek and a list geek.
A stunning selection of cards. I love my label maker as well!! I try and do my morning pages each day as well.
these are totally fun! love the variety - the techniques, lists, pockets.....all very cool! only a month left :( I'm having so much fun! thanks for your visit.
Great cards. Love the pocket and nice use of the flag stamps. Hum, must pull out the label maker.
I really love all of your cards. I enjoy how you add the everyday ephemera to make something special. I would never think to use a Starbucks bag on a card but it is very cool! Your mandala is great, I am going to have to try one of those as well
