Raisin Books

Duct tape journals...they commanded our total attention...

blog posts, swaps, videos and photos....

for such a short time, and then...

nothing...
But now I can't walk to the recycle bin without evaluating the materials I am carrying there as potential notebook covers!
I have amassed quite a large collection of cardboard packaging.
I pulled these little golden raisin snack boxes from my collection box yesterday, used red electrical tape to bind them, and cut paper to size that has graphing squares on one side and lines on the other--practical paper for note jotting.
They are the perfect size for pocket or purse notebooks!

I love the cover. Neat idea. I wonder who eats all those raisins? Two little girls I bet.

These are just adorable. I saw a book with a Lucky Charms cereal cover on Pinterest and bought a box of it which we never eat just so I could have the front of it for a future book! I love how you use duct tape.

Cute little raisin booklets!

I save lots of food packaging boxes to make things out of too.

So darn CUTE!!!.. And I've said it before, but with me?? It's like a sickness! I can't throw hardly ANYTHING out without looking at it first, and saying/thinking "Wait! Can I make something with this?".. Well, no box is too small, apparently. I'm gonna have to start saving the little ones too, and give these little mini notebooks a try!.. Have a great weekend! ~tina
