Shameless Imitation

If you've seen the work I have created for Studio 791, then you  know that I love all things "postal."  I use postage stamps to decorate gift tags, notebooks, and picture frames.  From my point of view, the colors and graphics of postage stamps make them each small works of art.

So when I saw the postcards created by Hanna for her annual postcard swap, I was in love!  She created postcards with a collage of postage stamps, and immediately inspired me to make ATCs in the same style. 

I used some painted papers as backgrounds, as well as plenty of U.S. and foreign postage stamps.  I also used pieces from an airmail envelope on some of the edges, as well as postal-themed rubber stamps over the top.  Then, like Hanna, I used a rounded corner punch to make a nice finished look to the cards.  Here's a closer look:
